Recipe for the Month

Here is one of the recipes I included in the healthy snacks for kids booklet that I distributed at the open house. It is great for children of all ages (smile).

Fruit parfait
1 cup of blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries
1 cup of mangoes or pineapples cut into cubes
1 cup of organic vanilla yogurt
1 cup of crushed almonds
Honey to taste
1/2 cup of Turbinando sugar
Sprig of mint for garnish

Preparations
Mix the Turbinando sugar with the berries and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to create juice.
Add honey to taste to the vanilla yogurt.
The key to this wonderful treat is to create layers with beautiful colors and textures.
The bottom layer is 1/2 inch of berries.
The next layer is 1/2 inch of yogurt.
The middle layer is 1/2 of mango or pineapple.
The next layer is 1/2 of yogurt.
The top layer is 1/2 of berries.
Finally add the crushed almonds to the top and add a sprig of mint for garnish.

Food can nourish PMS

ImageMany of my female patients are suprised at how significant their symptoms decrease just with the correct nutritional and dietary changes. Medical professionals have identified 150 different PMS symptoms. The symptoms range from post nasal drip, emotional symptoms, or digestive problems. Food really can be used as medicine and in my practice I teach women to change their food and change their life. The phrase eating healthy is different for each person and just because a women is not eating red meat does not mean that she is eating the right combination of food to decrease her PMS symptoms. Call and find out how I can help you reduce your pain and discomfort 301-587-0125.

As always I wish you love, peace and joy!
In Health,

Dr. Daemon Jones
