Today’s smoothie was inspired by an ingredient that a friend bought for me turmeric root. The smoothie is called Fennel soup. I have discovered that I don’t like the texture of smoothies that have celery in them. For me, they are not smooth they are more chunky and stringy. I like celery so I think I will stick to using it for stuffing.
Ingredients: collard green leaves, celery stalks, fennel stalks, avocado, lemon, water and turmeric root.
